HOW TO ROOT GALAXY ACE S5380

Make sure that you have at least 70-80% charge in your phone before you start the process.

-Connect the device to your PC in USB MASS STORAGE MODE and copt the ROOT FILE to your SD card.

- Disconnect your device and shut it down.

- Press and hold the HOME button+ POWER button and let them once your device boots into recovery mode.

 

- Use VOLUME UP and DOWN keys to highlight to APPLY UPDATE from sd card and press the HOME button to select it.

- Locate and select universal_gb_root_v25.zip.

- Once you see the install from sdcard complete message, highlight and select reboot system now.

YOUR GALAXY ACE SHOULD BE ROOTED NOW. LET YOUR PHONE BOOT AND SEE FOR THE APP NAMED "SUPERUSER" TO CONFIRM THAT ITS ROOTED.

INSTALLING CLOCKWORK MOD RECOVERY

The recovery mode that you went to by pressing HOME+POWER button doesn't have many options. So, we must install a CUSTOMIZED RECOVERY.

- Download CLOCKWORK MOD RECOVERY.

- Copy the file to SD CARD. 

Warning: DO NOT CREATE ANY FOLDER AND THEN PLACE THE FILE. JUST COPY IT TO THE MAIN FOLDER OF SD CARD

- Switch off your phone.

- Go to recovery mode by pressing POWER+HOME button.

- Go to APPLY UPDATE FROM SD CARD and select the file that you just copied.

-Once it finishes installing, reboot the phone by choosing REBOOT SYSTEM NOW.

To confirm the installation of clockwork mod recovery, next time when you go into recovery mod, you will find the screen with more options.

HOW TO INSTALL

Download the ROM and copy it to sd card.

Reboot your phone to Recovery mode.

Choose WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET.

Choose WIPE CACHE PARTITION.

Select INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD.
